About Our Campus

We understand that traditional four-year colleges aren’t for everyone. Yet many adults who are juggling the demands of work and family still want to earn a diploma or degree. Remington College in Cleveland, Ohio offers diploma programs that can be completed in as few as 12 months, with some classes available both day and evening. (2)

Associate’s Degree Programs:

  • Computer and Network Administrator Training Our associate's degree program in Computer and Network Administration helps to prepare students at our Cleveland, Ohio campus for entry-level jobs managing and maintaining computer and network systems, with a focus on Microsoft Windows-based network architectures.(1) The curriculum - which includes coursework in network security, client operating systems, network implementation and support, computer architecture/software, and routers and switches - helps to equip students with the knowledge required to take specific Microsoft certification exams.

    Criminal Justice Degree Our Criminal Justice associate's degree program helps prepare students at our Cleveland, Ohio campus in many areas of the criminal justice system, including the study of crime, legislation and the law, investigation, arrest, prosecution, punishment, and the Constitution. Program graduates may qualify for entry-level positions in corrections, loss prevention, and security(1)



Diploma Programs:

  • Cosmetology Training Program The Cosmetology diploma program emphasizes training in safety, sanitation, and some basics of chemistry while providing hands-on training in hair treatment, shaping, styling, and coloring. It also offers training in the fundamentals of make-up, and manicure and pedicure procedures. The curriculum helps graduates of our Cleveland, Ohio campus prepare to meet their state licensing requirements(3) and qualify for entry-level positions in salons and spas.(1)(2)

    Electronics Technician Training Program The Electronic Technology diploma program helps prepare students at our Cleveland, Ohio campus to build, maintain, diagnose, and test electrical systems and devices through coursework and hands-on training. The curriculum can be completed in as few as 12 months and helps to prepare graduates for entry-level employment opportunities ranging from computer technology to basic electrical and electronics management.(1)

    HVAC Technician Training School Students of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) College Degree Program at our Cleveland campus study how to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and upgrade HVAC systems through coursework and hands-on practice that meet national skill standards. The curriculum - which covers such topics as residential/light commercial heating and cooling fundamentals, refrigeration and freezers, and indoor air quality standards - helps prepare students in as few as 12 months to complete state HVAC certification testing(2) and pursue potential entry-level jobs with contracting companies, manufacturers, or wholesalers in specialty areas.(1)

    Medical Assistant Training Program The Medical Assisting diploma program helps prepare students at our Cleveland, Ohio campus to become contributing members of a health care team through coursework focused on clinical procedures, office procedures such as recordkeeping, and medical terminology. Graduates can pursue employment in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, outpatient care centers, physicians' offices, and laboratories.(1)

    Medical Billing Training Program The Medical Billing and Coding Diploma Program coursework at our Cleveland, Ohio campus covers a fundamental range of subjects, from medical coding and terminology to human anatomy and physiology. Graduates may go on to become health information coders, medical record coders, coding specialists, medical database supervisors, or medical office administrative assistants.(1)

    Medical Assistant X-Ray Technician Training Our Cleveland Medical Assisting with X-Ray Tech (Limited Scope) and EKG diploma program is designed to help prepare students in two key areas of the health care industry: X-Ray tech and EKG tech training.

    Pharmacy Technician Training Program Students of the Pharmacy Technician college diploma program receive training in a variety of tasks, including assisting the pharmacist in filling prescriptions, compounding medications and assisting patients. Completing their coursework and hands-on training under the guidance of experienced pharmacy technicians to help prepare our Baton Rouge, Louisiana campus graduates to work in a pharmacy setting under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.(1)

Our commitment to students continues outside of the classroom. Our Career Services Department was designed to help students find and apply for jobs, get advice and help on resume writing, prepare for job interviews, and connect with potential employers.(1)

Active Involvement in the Cleveland Community

Community involvement is a priority at all Remington College campuses, and the Cleveland Campus is no exception. The campus has participated in the Remington College "Cuts for Kids" program and a local "Coats for Kids" drive, and our staff members have volunteered with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Relay for Life, Multiple Sclerosis Society, America Reads, and other civic groups. Remington College - Cleveland Campus is also a participating member of both the Maple Heights Chamber of Commerce and the Garfield Heights Chamber of Commerce.

The campus is located at 14445 Broadway Avenue Cleveland, OH 44125 just two blocks south of the I-480/Broadway Avenue interchange and is on the public transportation routes.

There is also a separate Remington College - Cleveland West Campus located in North Olmsted.
